Not to say anything bad about Mom, but she is putting on some weight. People are beginning to look at her like "boy she has put on a few pounds". So Mom has been trying to find maternity clothes that don't look like a tent. That is easier said that done, especially on a budget. Why do clothes that you are only going to wear for a short period of time cost so much money? Oh well, it is the American way I guess. Oh no, I am still in the womb and already I am becoming a cynic. Actually, believe it or not, Mom has found some good deals at Sears of all places. I guess since they sell tents too, they understand that clothes shouldn't look like them. Luckily, Mom can still wear Dad's clothes on the weekends, but work might frown on sweats.
Mom did get a couple of good deals this weekend thanks to a friend, Michelle, at church telling her about a huge consignment sale at the Kingsport Civic Center this weekend. She got a couple of blankets and this warm fleece sleep sack for me to use after I get here. Mitzi, Mom's friend that went with her to the sale, even got me a little something. Can't wait to play with it. It sure was a wake-up call as to how much stuff Mom and Dad are going to need for me. They have plenty of time for that though. Mom and Dad don't even have my room cleared out yet. Always a lot to do. Glad I can relax during all of it.
I am going to have to get some sleep now.
